Parent Education

Class Listing - Fall Semester 2010-2011




These classes provide an opportunity for children to enjoy group activities that will prepare them for a successful school experience. They will participate in art activities, working puzzles, riding tricycles, singing, and reading stories. Parents will participate in group discussions and have an opportunity to learn skills for parenting. Parents and children attend class together.

Parent Education/Distance Learning

Two programs in a video/DVD and workbook format let you learn at home. "The Now and Future Parent"- from infancy through Kindergarten, covers a broad range of parenting issues. "Surviving the Teen Years" focuses on supporting parents of adolescents. Available in English and Spanish, your parent education teacher has more information.
