Registration Dates
For most classes open enrollment begins a week prior to the
first day of class. At the Kennedy, Rinaldi, and San Fernando
campuses registration is in the adult school offices. At other
locations, students register in the classroom the first day of
class. Enrollment continues until classes are full.
Enrollment Policy
Enrollment must be confirmed by attendance at the first class
meeting. Under the continuous enrollment policy, vacancies at
the first class meeting may be filled.
Termination of Classes
Classes will be terminated or combined if insufficient
numbers of students are enrolled, or if the average attendance
falls below the number required by the Los Angeles Unified
School District Board of Education, or if budget constraints
dictate this decision.
Statement of Civil Rights
All educational and vocational opportunities are offered
without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or
handicap. A lack of English language skills will not be a
barrier to admission and participation in educational and
vocational programs.
Uniform Complaint Process
The Los Angeles Unified School District has a uniform
complaint process as required in Title V, California Code of
Regulations, Sections 4600-4671. A copy of that policy is posted
in the adult school office, along with information on how to
file a complaint.
Tobacco-Free No Smoking On Campus
The Los Angeles Unified School District has prohibited
smoking and the use of tobacco products on all school and
District property.
Expenses - Registration Fees
A registration fee of $20.00 per course of 12 weeks or less
in length, $25.00 per course of 13-17 weeks in length, and
$30.00 per course of 18-22 weeks in length will be collected

body ID card and is good for the entire school year. Photo ID
