Kennedy-San Fernando Community Adult School offers classes at over
60 branch locations in fourteen
cities including Arleta, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Lakeview
Terrace, Mission Hills, North Hills, Northridge, Pacoima,
Panorama City, San Fernando, Sun Valley, Sunland, Sylmar, and
Tujunga.
Mission Statement
The mission
of Kennedy-San Fernando Community Adult School is
to provide instruction and support to the members of our diverse
community so they may acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to
meet their individual goals and participate more effectively in
society.
ESLR's (Expected Schoolwide Learning Results)
Kennedy-San Fernando Community Adult School students will:
- Gain skills to participate effectively in civic, community,
or family activities:
- by acquiring knowledge about school, community,
state, and national issues;
- by learning and assuming the responsibilities of
community member or citizen;
- by acquiring skills and behaving as a responsible
family member
- Seek and acquire learning and apply it to life
situations:
- by acquiring and using fundamental speaking,
listening, math, reading, writing, physical, creative,
and/or technical skills;
