Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Kennedy-San Fernando Community Adult School website.  I hope you enjoy browsing our site and find course offerings that meet your needs.  Our service area covers a wide stretch of the Northeast San Fernando Valley: east-west from Tujunga to Granada Hills, and north-south from Sylmar to North Hills.  We offer programs in those cities as well as San Fernando, Lakeview Terrace, Pacoima, Arleta, and Sunland, at over forty (40) locations.  The variety of programs we offer is similarly wide: ESL (English as a Second Language), Citizenship, Parent Education, GED Test Preparation and High School Diploma,  Programs for Older Adults,  Vocational Training, Programs for Adults with Disabilities, and Basic Education. Additionally, we offer home study programs for English and High School Diploma subjects.  All our programs are funded by the state of California and are open to the public.

Webpage Translator

We have an exciting new feature on our website.
At the bottom left of each webpage in our site you will see this:
(this is only a picture - the REAL translator is on the bottom left of this page)
Click on the drop-down arrow and a list of languages will appear. Select the language you would like and wait a moment, and the page you are viewing will reappear-- translated into the language that you selected.  We hope this feature will assist those not fluent in English to better understand the information contained on our website.  And remember, we offer many classes to help you become fluent in English, as well as becoming an American citizen, receiving your 8th grade diploma, High School Diploma or GED,  and many vocational classes to help you get a job.
