Adult School. LAUSD has reorganized the Adult School

system and we are now a part of the

North Valley Service Area
 
of Adult and Career Education Schools

WINTER BREAK 2012-2013

Schools are closed from December 15, 2012 to January 6, 2013.

The next semester begins on January 7, 2013.

BRAIN FITNESS -

MEMORY ENHANCEMENT CLASS


ONCE AGAIN OFFERED

AT RINALDI ADULT CENTER

    • Brain Fitness Classic - focusing on the Speech and Hearing centers of the brain, helps increase brain processing speed, working memory,  and memory retention and retrieval.
  • Brain Fitness InSIGHT - focusing on the Visual Cortex of the brain, helps increase peripheral vision, useful field of view,  and is recommended by AAA for accident  prevention.
Class is held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at the Rinaldi Adult Center's Computer Lab. The Class fee is $30.00

At NVOC-AC, we believe that:

The mission of North Valley Occupational Center-Aviation Center is to offer educational opportunities that provide a diverse population of students with the ability to be career ready, technically skilled and educationally prepared.

We realize that job preparation involves more than just completing course work. We provide theory and hands-on training, a full range of counseling services, and GED & high school diploma classes. All our instructors are credentialed by the state of California.

  • UCLA Longevity Center MEMORY TRAINING CLASSES
Special Memory Training classes developed by the
UCLA Longevity Center
are being offered through Partners in Care and the
North Valley Service Area of Adult and Career Education Schools
at the Rinaldi Adult Center.

This class fee is $10.00
  to register.

Teacher: Steve Steinberg

Class is once a week for
2 hours
for a total of
4 weeks
on Thursdays from 3:00pm-5:00pm.
